Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Nov 18
The 2016 Te Remus Single Vineyard Pinot Noir has a perfumed, quite floral bouquet with cranberry, raspberry coulis and light white pepper and undergrowth aromas. The palate is well balanced, offering sappy red berry fruit and a fine bead of acidity, and quite caressing towards the finish. I like the finely judged generosity here. An excellent Pinot Noir.

New Zealand Vineyard Fine Wine

New Zealand

New Zealand has carved out a global reputation for its vibrant Sauvignon Blanc, but the country offers so much more. From the structured, perfumed Pinot Noirs of Central Otago to fresh Syrah and textured whites from regions like North Canterbury and Hawke’s Bay, these are wines full of clarity, energy and character. A cool climate, abundant sunshine and a strong focus on sustainability help shape a uniquely expressive and modern wine style that continues to evolve.
